Fresh Start

I've decided to move here to start a brand new blog to write about things I enjoy to give my opinions on rather than discuss what's up with my day to day life as I have been. Maybe it's a new year's resolution for me, although I've never really made any nor committed to any (and it's already February). This year will be the first. Yay for me. :) Besides the usual "save money," and "get a raise," I want to have a new online home to write my thoughts in.

As a food lover, I read food blogs religiously (and also take pictures of my food). I check on the blogs almost everyday to see if a new post has popped up for my reading pleasure. Maybe those blogs are the source of my inspiration but nonetheless I immensly enjoy reading food blogs/trolling boards.

The blogs that I frequent:

Monster Munching or aka elmomonster (OC based)

DailyGluttony (LA based)

Eat Drink & Be Merry (LA based)

The Food Pornographer (Australia)

ChubbyPanda (OC based)

OC FoodBlogs (OC based, fairly new. Hope to submit some reviews to them!)

LA Chowhounds (LA based Board with a bit of OC peeking here and there since there are no OC Chowhounds board)

The Girl Who Ate Everything (NYC based)

The Daily Tiffin (Germany based. I don't visit as often anymore but I will hope that this site is still around when I have children)

Tuna Toast (LA based)

There are a couple more blogs that I go to but not really religiously. Most of the blogs up there are blogspot, and I was going to start my new home on Vox since it integrates Flickr and Youtube but I believe only blogspot allows anyone to comment even if not a member. I think that's pretty useful and easier.

So I thought, ok I definitely want to start a food blog, but that's not ALL I would like to do.

So what else?

Since I work for a game company, and personally have been a gamer since age 10 starting with the classic arcade Street Fighter with Chun-Li as my idol, why not have a blog about fooding and gaming? Ahhhh-yes. It can be "f-ame" or "g'ood?" Eh not really awesome names for this hybrid blog but you get my point. Of course once in awhile, I'll throw in a couple posts to rant or share something in my personal life.
